How we partner with nonprofit organizations

The Aetna Foundation works at two levels. We partner with national and select international organizations, funding their pioneering approaches to improving health among large groups of people. We do not accept unsolicited proposals, but rather reach out to targeted nonprofits to develop projects or provide funding.

For our Cultivating Healthy Communities (CHC) Grant Program, we give grants to local nonprofits across the United States, nurturing innovations that can inspire healthier lifestyles. This program, brings in applications through an annual RFP (Request for Proposals) Our CHC grant program for 2017 is currently open.
